We met Holly at Opera Bar and wandered amongst the tourists & theater goers hanging out by the harbor. Jonathan and I have wanted to film at the Sydney Opera House since we began making music films in 2007, but it never quite seemed possible.

With the iconic sails all lit up with Laurie Anderson’s projections, the House became less of a theater and more like a lighthouse in the night.

Basically, I love everything about Holly. That voice…a perfect balance of rasp, flexibility, accuracy, and emotion. That expressive face that helps inject the music into your being…that sad discontented look in her eyes with the occasional smile that makes you wish you had inspired it. Very enjoyable to watch and listen all around.
