While I was in Melbourne for Next Wave<\/a>, Laura joined us on the street to make these little films. Laura mentioned she loved the look of Shoot The Player films, and looking back on the footage I was intrigued by the different aesthetic that Melbourne light has – these films don’t really look like any other Shoot The Player films, do they? <\/p>\n

Laura’s intimate, self discovering sensibility struck a chord with me the first time I heard her music. Mesmerising and truthful, Laura’s albums are like much loved storybooks for adults. They unfold with personal history and private experience.<\/p>\n
