\nKaki King: Camp Out (by An Horse) <\/a><\/p>\n

Yesssss! This shoot almost didn’t happen. Kaki was supporting Foo Fighters on their Australian Tour and filming was not going to be easy. Instruments had to be kept at the Acer Arena, cameras were not allowed anywhere in the venue, security guards and tunnels of fluro lights make for an unfriendly setting and all we wanted to do was shoot a little film!<\/p>\n

The plan had been to film in the empty stadium before the gig. Amazing! Ha, good luck. Instead what evolved was the opposite. Almost hiding, we squeezed in two quick songs backstage while everyone else finished their drinks and piled into the waiting vans. In between songs Kaki’s broken nail sent us all in a tailspin – Kaki under the couch trying to find a lost bottle of glue, me in the kitchen asking to borrow scissors. As always with Kaki, filming was comedy of errors and a wonderful mad rush.<\/p>\n

Her cover of Camp Out by Brisbane band An Horse<\/a> is an upbeat take on this dreamy tune – we’ll film An Horse doing the original later in the year.<\/p>\n
